The Commission for Higher Education
offers information services to the secretariat, Commisssioners, students and staff of universities
in Kenya and the public.
The information services offered include library, Internet and public advisory.
The library collection is divided into
four sections:
- The reference collection includes yearbooks, handbooks and directories on institutions and universities of higher learning.
- The books collection includes books on higher education – History of higher education, College teaching, institutions of higher education, accreditation, evaluation and ranking of universities, higher education finance, systems of higher education and other special aspects of higher education. University Calendars are also contained in this section.
- The periodicals collection includes journals, bulletins and newspaper on higher education.
- The Commission for Higher Education collection contains reports, Commission minutes and Proposals for the establishment of privately funded universities.
To apply for free registration with the Commission for Higher Educations' Library, send an email to library@che.or.ke. Once you have registered, you may enter the library at any time by going directly to "http://library.che.or.ke" and entering your username and password.

The Library will remain closed on all weekend and Government approved holidays.
